Productive weekend down in Connecticut. Got a chance to get some seat time on a bike, heading down to the parking lot of the local elementary school with the significant other’s father (slightly blurry iPhone picture). We took one of his Ninja 250′s out and did some basic exercises including walking, turning, starting, clutch engagement, etc.

I did pretty well except for one drop as an oversized RV camper came speeding toward me on a narrow pass; bike was unharmed except for a small scratch on the turn signal (don’t know how I managed that). Hopefully I’ll get another chance to get out this year (weather permitting), and if not, pick up my own bike in time for the start of next season.

My Dermalogica stuff came on Saturday and I’m pretty excited to start using it. I ordered a few more things yesterday (toner and sunscreen) to add to my routine. I have a dermatologist appointment some time in the next month or two, so hopefully I get some results by then.

Getting a haircut tomorrow, since I’m not really a huge fan of these Farrah Fawcett curl type things going on. One day I’ll get adventurous and get it cut some new way, but for now, just the same old same old. Other than that, not much going on this week. Perhaps a visit to a friend, an interview on Wednesday, and some sitting around passing time like usual.
